Gaming The Legendary Starfy - Local Wireless Multiplayer Problem

Hi,
when clicking on "Local Wireless" the game The Legendary Starfy says "Looking for player... Please wait a moment..." - It says this on both DS consoles but they do not find each other.

Other games like Contra 4 or Mario Kart DS work fine on local wireless.

Any idea what we have to do to play the game together?

Are you sure you've set one console to "Host" and the other one to "Join"?

Where can change these settings?

Once I click on "local wireless" the game starts searching and nothing happens.

Sorry if I up this old thread but I have the exact same problem.
I'm trying to connect a DSiXL with an Acekard 2i to a DS Lite with a CycloDS Evolution and all I'm getting is the looking for player screen. I know that there are many variables this way, all I want to know is if someone has managed to link 2 systems to play this game.
If it has to be a compatibility issue, I hope that it's on the Acekard part, since the CycloDS updates are "lacking".

Yeah, you're absolutely right!
The "local wireless" option at the beginning serves only for the second player to join while the first is already in game.
I feel stupid for not having tried it before.
