AceKard 2 carts are pretty handy, you know when someone has a birthday, and you don't really have a gift in mind... etc. It's a cart that I can recommend wholeheartedly

No, they are not. R4 is 20 bucks while cheaper ones are from 5-15 bucks. And Ez Flash is the best quality so it's not cheap. eWin and some others are cheaper.

Well I think for the most part, users with a LOT of carts are mostly reviewers that get them for free anyways, such as myself, shaunj, raing, iwakura, etc. While users with 2-5 may have been lured into it because they bought a cheap one and wanted to upgrade, then went with a DSi one, etc.

And some are just crazy.

i actually have tons more like that first slot-1 cart ninjapass..remember that? this is what i could round up in my new place..for the most part i have every slot-1 card ever made..even the white chinese R4's and jap R4's and those shit n-card and clones. tons of clones, and other carts with different color carts..i think the only thing im missing is a gold edge and an acekard RPG..anyone wanna sell me one? sorry i cant find them all..maybe one of these days ill round them all up and take another pic.

if anyone is wondering how i get all these, well my g/f travels back and forth to china a lot for business and she picks me up anything new at our fav little vid game shop in shenzen. they already know to put aside any new flashcart or backup device that hits the market..

Hmm, back in early June was when I got my first Flashcard, the DS-Xtreme 2GB. (Biggest waste of money, but now it's probably a collector's item.) Then in October was when I ordered my CycloDS 3rd generation, back when they only had white (with the bumps), and the had a lot of DOAs.

It didn't come until like November 28th (there was a shortage, remember?). Then for Christmas that year ('07) was when I ordered my EZ Flash 3-in1 GBA size (I only had a phat). RHS screwed up my order and accidentally gave me an M3DS Real...

So anyway, I returned that, and got my EZ Flash (though I probably could have made more money just selling the M3). Fast forward around October that next year, and that was when I got my improved CycloDS Black. I sold my old one to my friend, though now I feel kinda ripped off. I told him I would sell it to him for $25 but he only had $20 at the time, and he said he would pay me back later, which he still hasn't.. >.> Anyway, for my next birthday of April 2009, when when I got my DSi. I then ordered an Acekard2i a little while later.

So the list is:

Well I've gone through a few flashcards but I haven't kept them if I haven't needed them so much...

There was my original R4, I sold that to my bro when I got my Cyclo DS.
When I got my DSi I got an Acekard 2i and gave my Cyclo to my cousin.
I'm a little dissatisfied with the AK2i performance so I just ordered an M3i Zero.

Whilst I used my R4 I got a Supercard Lite for GBA games, bad idea. It worked nice as extra memory and a rom dumper though.
Then I found out I could use my old Action Replay DS as a passcard, now my old tacky DS lite is a cooking timer.
And for my CycloDS I got an EZ Flash 3in1, great buy.

That's all, I also have the 50+ DS games I've bought.

Wow, you guys sure have a ton of flash carts!

Around here I have lots... but really, it's just all about what you have a use for. If it plays ROMs well, that's fine by me, I don't need to collect for the sake of collecting (at least not with flash devices, LOL)

So basically, what I have is:

Supercard SD (Purple color, I wanted the blue though), Supercard Mini (old version with Boba Fett that doesn't reset the DS when you stick it in), Supercard Mini (with stupid new logo that does reboot the DS... I'm looking to sell that one off so if you want one let me know!), and Supercard Lite (Black).

Then for slot 1 I have Supercard One (Obsolete, I broke the spring and screw too), AceKard 2i, and finally Supercard DSi-One.

As you can tell, I'm a Supercard fanboy! Mainly because they work, they're cheap, and really except the CycloDS nothing beats it feature-wise.

I also ordered a second Supercard Lite and Supercard DSi-One as my DS Lite was recently stolen (sucks, huh?) so I need to replace them. Too bad I can't get the data back...

As to why I have so many slot 2s, it goes like this.

I first got the Supercard SD and Super Key a couple years ago, before slot 1 cards even existed. I had the original DS (Phat), and since mini SD cards are kinda uncommon I figured I'd just tolerate it sticking out a little. Well about a year later I got tired of it being so huge in my pockets so I bought the Mini version, as well as a 2GB MiniSD card. I then bought a Supercard One, making my DS Phat complete.

Well my DS broke and couldn't be fixed by Nintendo, so they sent me a free DS Lite replacement. Meaning I needed a smaller slot-2 card, of course, so I replaced it with the Supercard Lite.

As to why I have an AceKard 2i, that should be obvious... I bought a DSi and needed something working. At the time the Supercard DSi didn't exist. When it came out I bought that one too.
