It a real flashcart.
Why would they make a new movie player and gba emulator, it will come soon.
The flashcart is in delay so far. The gba emulation is simple no rts and stuff like that.

huh? what are you talking about?

I should be getting my sample soon as well. Still waiting. But I still need to wait for nintendo to repair my DSi, I called them today and they said that they couldn't fix my DSi and had to replace it so they will send my DSi to me tomorrow not sure how many days it will take for me to get the DSi from them back.

Even though I closely follow flashcartridges (I know TC is working on a CycloDS2 right now, my own little "beta" name) I have never heard of this one. Never mind.

I hope the os isnt like the r4, in April the ex4 booted the movie player in a r4 menu

Anyway, couldn't we as hackers (after the ROM of the cartridge itself is released) EDIT the menu?

Wait what CycloDS2??? I know that the DSTT team is making a new flashcart DSTT2.

What's with all the flash cart sequels?

I'm interested in the CycloDS2, but it's most likely going to cost around 400$ considering how much the Cyclo costs right now.

No, they are most likely to be the same price, and the current one go down in price, unless.... they go on the cheap and make a shitty product

how needs this when we just got the scds2

it depends....
from what i was told that the GBA emulation is greater than the one on SCDS2 and it supports various codecs that SCDS2 doesn't

EDIT: these are just words and we do hope it is as good as advertised

team SC might address all these in the subsequent update
but
what if this card can do all these when it is out? that is a different scenario right?

my concern would always be...firmware support? how often would we receive an update?
i guess team SC might not be the best but at least they had proved themself over the years...

Why are you people waiting for the EX4i to be released? It's probably some rip off cart that'll fail! And it seems to me that it's an R4 clone with SCDSTwo features.

SCDS2 FTW!!!

yes the ex4i looks good
but it has also nothing to show for IT

so don't tell that the ex4i will be better

anyway,
wait for ex4i review
and wait for dstwo updates

We'll just have to wait for a review for the EX4i and if it is better than the SCDSTwo I will want a refund from Shoptemp

The SCDS2 doesn't currently have any real features that most flashcarts can't do with a DSL + 3in1. So basically it is currently not that amazing (like all flashcarts have been considering features when released, including CycloDS Evo, AK2i, R4, SCDSOne, etc). If the Ex4i does something that the DS2 doesn't it could possibly get some share of the possible profit of the next gen flashcarts.

Waiting for updates is something that everyone can do. Look at what the DS flashcarts have done after the first releases (Auto-DLDI, among other things). It's a question of what the card is able to do from the start. The Ex4i could be better than the SCDS2 from the start if they get a working firmware and really good compatibility for all games and especially the GBA/SNES emulators.

I'm interested in all new flashcarts since they might change the gaming for DSs pretty much.

PS. @Knyaz Vladimir: Where have you heard of the TeamCyclops possible CycloDS Evo v.2? The only speculation so far has been the DSi feature video from years back.

Is the EX4i's firmware out? I just checked their site so see if they changed it and in the "firmware download" section it has the firmware, video player, and... DLDI?

I wonder if the video player works on the DSTwo

(I haven't downloaded any of it yet)
