I'm late to the party! I had seen this episode being out for a while, but wanted to wait until I had some time to just listen and enjoy this rare occasion. @AlanJohn To answer you question of how I listen: it can vary but it's usually while resting, or maybe eating breakfast or in the evening and similar. Sometimes on longer car rides. Typically not when out and about or actively working on something.

I think you need to decide if you want video on the podcast. Generally I prefer the sound format and keep my device in a pocket. Video could make sense to show what post you're reading (could also work for the tempcast to illustrate news). But for you might instead want to look into active chapter-based thumbnails. Office Hours (an experimental meta-podcast from Jupiter Broadcasting, of Linux Unplugged fame) has begun experimenting with that and I think it works pretty well, but I don't know how well it'd integrate with the youtube upload and the extra work. But also: if you put your face public keep in mind it might make people ID you (either doxed by someone on the forum, or some patient/coworker connecting you IRL to this account). It seems highly unlikely, but just wanted to bring it up.

That girl you broke up with, was she the same voodoo person you mentioned in the last episode? If I recall that relation sounded unstable and if it's any comfort I think you will go on and find happiness and in time you will meet someone who will appreciate you despite not being into voodoo stuff. It's painful. But doctor, let time heal that broken heart.

Oh, and about getting a Wii U: it's neat but I don't think it's really that worthwhile these days. A modern PC (maybe a cheap beelink mini?) has so much more performance, and picture quality (and less leg from what I've heard). 3DS emulation on a wii u is impossible, but even a cheaper pc (or the switch) can mostly do it. Not sure about solving the touch screen though. Does citra support pairing a phone/tablet? Hmm.... maybe that PS5 could be hacked and used for emulation? You are a gbatemp member, after all.
