And why not ?
The R4 and even M3 can handle it no prob. Yet the retarded makers of the TT couldn't design it the same way. I doubt i'd ever be able to get the TT to work with JUS- Eng. Not to mention the FFTA2 patch was supposed to be universal and even it doesnt work.
Is it the "Lets Make Stupid Statements In the DSTT Board" week?

The team isn't "retarded" because their flashcart doesn't work with a ROM hack some guy/s made.

*random but is there any possibility of the DSTT firmware or whatever being updated so its better and not so far technology-wise from the cyclods and such?

just thought i'd add my two cents.

all CLEAN games work for me that i have tested, and i've tested about 500 (seriously, i did. wasn't too tough with a 4GB SD Card). even trace memory, contra 4, and mk. the only problem with "testing" games is that i do not play them through 100%, so there is really never a way of knowing if a game that boots fine will play through fine, but i assume they will.

yes, there will be updates, has the neoflash team ever let us down? that's a little tongue in cheek, as anyone who has bought neo products knows, but i am still confident we will see updates. also, check out YSMENU if you want a nice alternative that uses folders and has some extra slot-2 device support for GBA. i use it and prefer it to the DSTT menu. since YSMENU is built upon the official menu, i'm not sure that we'll see it supporting patched or hacked roms in the near future, assuming the DSTT team doesn't care to support them (and from everything i gather and a lack of answers from dr. neo, i don't think they plan on a fix for it).

i freakin love my DSTT and the ONLY drawback thus far is the lack of ability to play non-clean roms. other than that it is the best card for the money.

last, it's ridiculous to say it has 100% compatibility and go and change it in the review because what happens when a new game comes out that doesn't work? should they go change the review again? and then a new update comes out that fixes it and they have to go change the review yet again? i went a couple years only using my MK3, and a few years before that using an MK2, so i guess i can settle with 99% compatibility.

p.s. thanks for the review, it's what convinced me to buy it.

Play every single DS game to the end and then tell me that your DSTT has 99.99% compatibility, oh but then as my cart may have been manufactured with sightly different components you will have to test them all again with my hardware.

Hmm, i never encountered any problems with any games, except when my sister was going to play MySims (eu dump) it didnt create a proper save, and then hanged.
i had heard about the Contra 4 problems, and putted the SD into the comptuter, and sure the ".sav" was in big letters ".SAV" when i changed it back to small, it worked just fine.
(latest released loader, as of now)

In fact they are, not "retarded" I mean, but they have done some shitty work down there. The thing that does not work is my nds repacked is too aggressive for them. They have made some bad assumptions somewhere about how a rom has to look. But this assumption is stupid, it's not part of the real way a nds rom has to be. and I don't think it has to be me that have to changed code to make it works on a stupid card. my fucking patch are working on everything except dstt (from emus to slot2 and slot1), do you think it's normal ? there's definetely a problem with the dstt. and they might not be retarted for having done so, they might be for denying the problem like they are doing.

Now test the 2000 other games and report back to us.
I actually did and can confirm that with the newest firmware 100% of the games I tested work (mind you I tested 600 games in total, not 2000)

600 and 2000 are not the same thing.

you could almost double that 600 as most American releases have had a European release aswell which should work on similar grounds as the american one.
I can truly safely say that ALL english language games work on the newest firmware. All of them.

Incorrect. There have been several cases where specific language versions of games have compatibility issues, while others work fine.

What about the JUS english patch ?

And the FFTA2 one... they both don't work o.O

Doesn't that make it 99.8% ? ...

User-created patches obviously don't count.

And why not ?

Acutally there is a solution that been proven to work for the TT to play JUS-eng game and i have tried this solution and is does work.

Here the link to the forum that teaches you the solution http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=79126
