I have two questions about spoofing

1. Does it actually change the version number you'll see in settings?

2. Will it still try to auto update while you're spoofed and you still need to use Tubehax DNS? Or are the updates not effected by the spoof?

1. Yes, the settings will say 5.5.0. If the TVii app is gone, you know you're on the real 5.5.0, not spoofed.
2. Yes, it's still possible to full update to 5.5.0. Use TubeHax.

I have not used my system since release waiting for an exploit and my system was on 1.0.2. after reading this forum I purchased Hyrule warriors because a site said it had firmware 4.1.0 on it. Unfortunately, it updated my system to 5.1.2. now I cant tell if this is an exploitable firmware or do I have to update to 5.3.2? Also, I have tried the exploit multiple times using payload532 and have only gotten frozen, black, or glitched out screens. I would also like to know if I have to run the kernel exploit each time I use loadliine or once I do it is it all good from that point on? Also, If anyone knows how to tell if the disc is an original or reprint and wants to share this information it would be greatly appreciated.

naehwert said to stay under 5.2.0 for a possible IOSU exploit from him, which would mean you're good at 5.1.2. However, there is an unconfirmed rumor of an IOSU exploit coming in Dec 24 that will work for 5.3.2 and lower, so take your pick. At the moment, most hacks only work on 5.3.2 (payload532.html).

The exploit is not persisting; you must run it every time you turn on the console.

I have some reprints in the OP. I'm not going to list every one I find, but only the ones that can/used to get you to 5.3.2.

I'll edit to make it an "unconfirmed rumor" but I think zecoxao is usually pretty good about info. No harm, no foul. It's not like I was saying to update. Just saying it may be just around the corner.

so guys if there is no new WiiU FW update, i assume i can go and use AutoObtain DNS to update the SSB game and apply the manual tube hax dns back in yes ? safe to do yep ?

NUSGrabber GUI is unofficially dead. I need to get it out of the OP. It's all command line from here on out lol (unless someone makes a new one).

It's just the SSB update. People would be freaking out by now and news sources would have said a new FW was out if it really was. NUSGrabber is for 5.3.2 only.

I haven't heard of any reports of a Splatoon reprint. But if anyone on 5.3.2 with the Splatoon disk wants to post the case and disc (under side near inner ring) info, I'll put it in the OP as a "good" version to check against.
