I had that hack one time, but it didn't work, and you needed to start the mp3 of the backtrack at the exact time the level starts, which is insanely hard. I'd assume that in the video, they took video of the entire level and then put the music in in a video editor.
If anyone's wondering, the song is called "Kumikyoku" and it's one of many Nico Nico Douga medleys.
You can download this and other Nico Nico Douga medleys here, and more information is here.
Yeah. There's a shit ton of these already.
I saw this before. It was awesome .
That was really weird.
That was beautiful. I must have that hack.
Actually, last time I found the hack and patched it to the ROM, it didn't work, but I may have patched to the wrong version.
Here it is, btw. Googled only for half a second to find that.
That's the .ips file. You'll need to patch it onto the (J) ROM of Super Mario World. I do not know if the game requires you to have the song playing in an external program.
EDIT: Just tried it. It didn't work. Patching the game with the .ips patch makes the checksum go bad and it won't play.
I love the tags for the video...
I would love to know where I can find the music compilation for the BGM. I recognized so many of the music in it.
Here's something else made with the same thing. I think.
I think I died a little inside today.
That was... Amazing. But that must has taken days to make.
It's called Kumikyoku.
It's one of the many mixes on http://kumikyoku.rintaun.net
There's a wiki linked on that page, in case you want a list of songs in Kumikyoku, as well.
Been done before. You're late getting in on the fad.
Wow, I really like things like these
I didn't claim to make that, nor did I claim it was new, or any of the other things you seem to think I'm claiming.
Remember I watched this a year ago. Its amazing!
My personal favorites in there is Forest Maze (SMRPG), Wily theme 2 and SMW title.
whoa, that isnt a automatic thing right?
well, i donno.. it seems as if mario jumps at certain places.. well w/e amazing non the least
There's blocks you can add that make mario jump or push him really fast when he touches them, they just weren't used in the original game.
That was... Amazing...
I am awestruck.
I know some of the tunes lol, Hare Hare Yukai, Digimon OP 1, Air Man ga Taosenai, God Knows and the Lucky Star OP 1. :3
