On Sunday I went out and purchased a PlayStation 3 to compliment my Xbox 360 and Wii, thus completing my PSWii60 trifecta. This would be the second console trifecta I've completed, the first being last generation with the GameCube, Xbox, and PlayStation 2. So the question is, how many times have you completed the trifecta (or equivalent console generation lineup) in your lifetime?

I assume you have a DS and PSP?
I only have a DS, in regards to handheld gaming. Though I suppose this topic could be expanded to include handheld lineups as well, though I consider those a separate entity from the console trifecta.

I've completed the Trifecta once.

Gameboy Advance
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Pocket
Gameboy
Gameboy advance SP
And GBA Micro

Granted I didn't have them on release but I have them all now.

Mm, that isn't really the same thing. That is just having every release of every system, I mean specifically having every core system of that generation. In the case of this and last generation, the console offerings from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo.

Also, I don't think he really knows what a trifecta is...

Closest I was, was having a N64 and a PS1.
And a Sega 16bit and the Super NES.

But were there even consoles to complete the trifecta for those?

I do have a DS and a PSP, but it's just not the same as a trifecta...
a Bifecta perhaps ??

... but in my case - Never even attempted unless you include having a Gamegear & Gameboy
My brother on the other hand had Megadrive/Genesis, SNES & Playstation at one time

I've completed the PS3/Wii/360 trifecta. I'm selling my 360 soon, but I still completed it.
I also have the DS/PSP combo/thingy (There's not three so it's not really a trifecta).

I might buy a PS3 in two weeks when I travel to the USA and thus completing my first trifecta, other consoles I owned were N64

Yup got another set of all of the latest GEN consoles for Christmas. This is the only console Trifecta I've completed.

(Wii-PS3-XBOX 360 Slim)

i got ps2/xbox/gamecube

im one away from a trifecta of the gen before that and this gen (i got 360/wii and n64/ps1). im eventually getting a dreamcast and a ps3 though

i got the Wii-PS3-XBOX 360 trifecta three years ago, now i don't have my 360 cause i got tired of fixin its 3rl last year:)),hopefully I would get the trifecta again this year, if microsoft would release a better 360 slim that would be safer from overheating issues,i was looking forward for the kinect, im really excited for the upcoming 3DS and the PSP2

I have never been able to complete the trifecta. All i get are mostly handhelds.
