Every so often the game will allow you to attempt a Perfect rank on a minigame (aka a Full Combo in other rhythm games). you only get three attempts. the 0 miss code doesnt work for these for some reason, even if it does result in an Amazing rank.
honestly im not sure how to go about it but other rhythm heaven games do have codes for not failing Perfects. perhaps the 0 miss code can be improved somehow?
i can send my save file if that'd help you hunt for the correct address since you can repeated attempt Perfects on the ones i unlocked already

I'd anticipate it would be checking for a specific number of perfects. a code that adds together the goods/misses/perfects and puts them all on perfect and sets good/miss to 0 should work, but the code may rely on Atmosphere code register addition that SX-OS format codes would not support. Alternatively, it may be easier to just prevent the 3 attempt counter from decreasing so you can infinitely retry until you get a perfect score

everytime you achieve a perfect for a game, it unlocks something in the Rhythm Reference menu on the main menu, usually a little comic excerpt. which is why i dont think save editing to get all perfects is very viable since it'd prob require toggling a flag for each unlock.
did you get all perfects with the cheats? after each perfect a popup should appear telling you good job and what you unlocked

okay greatly appreciated! i just tried the new codes. the perfect doesnt dec is good and is a really solid idea as pointed out earlier. however the issue is that the codes dont help for "Night Mode". my mistake for failing to fully explain it but Night Mode appears once you get 3 perfects in a row for a game, and the mode is getting a final additional Perfect Rank on that game while blind. (no visuals just music) which grants the rainbow heart with a star.

thats why i was mainly looking for a code that specifically prevents the player from failing a perfect at all. or ending the game as it begins? regrettably i do not know much on how rhythm heaven is coded so i cant rly be of great help on going about this. from what it SEEMS the game doesnt care how many perfect moves by the end of a minigame, but more so as long as nothing else but perfect moves were registered as the minigame progresses instead.

i know it goes without saying but still thank you so much for looking into the game already, no worries if this request is a bit too much or complicated. i already feel bad for asking lol. the infinite perfect attempts is a start, its just on top of having the player get perfect 3 times in a row THEN playing it blind seems a bit much..
