I've got YAOSM running now on a D2B and haven't run into a game I can't play. I flash on the latest version that works with 629's and just run with it.

I'm looking for a modchip now as well (D2B)

I have a LAPTOP only... so no Serial port... can someone please explain in complete noob terms how I would go about flashing a chip with YAOSM, and what chip supports it, and even where to buy one on the cheap cheap...

Sorry if this sounds like I'm asking alot, just want to know I'm not getting in over my head... remember, NO SERIAL PORTS... is that a problem??

If you don't have a serial port you can't program YAOSM yourself. Isn't there an old computer with one soewhere around your house?

I went and got the chip from TechSick... just waiting for shipping now... should get it by Monday, Tuesday at the latest! Will try to post back when I get it... if I remember, and when I get some time, have a ton of games to play, lol
