Don't know who else tried it but seriously, it's pretty shitty.
It's incredibly slow, it crashes constantly and makes you reboot your 3DS and the quality sucks (which is kind of understandable since the screen isn't that high res).

Now I know there are far better devices to watch youtube-videos on, but still.
Is it really that hard to make a decent Youtube-app for the 3DS?

I haven't experienced any crashes myself. Are you running it normally or via emuNAND? Either way, it is what it is. Wii's YouTube channel also left a lot to be desired and had constant buffering problems. Keep in mind that this is not a simple playback program. It's an interface for remotely loaded videos, searches, etc. I'd give the 3DS a break. A break I couldn't give the Wii. Anyway, I'm surprised they brought YouTube to 3DS. Pretty much everyone owns phones which work so much better for this kind of thing.

No apps = sucks
make the apps = sucks

honestly almost everything related to video streaming is sucks, because mostly need 3rd party plugin (adobe flash).

Like manlego posted, aren't all complaints about this app supposed to go in that thread? We could have hundreds of threads complaining about the shittiness of the Youtube app. This is why it should all be in the aforementioned thread.
