Ive seen it, its actualy amazing
Uh...did you even read the first post? Or just the topic title?

Anyway, the 3D effect doesn't bother me at all. My eyes dry up sometimes when I'm playing but maybe that's just because I stop blinking when playing

EDIT: I'm near-sighted too. The 3D effect doesn't bother me when I'm wearing glasses or contacts.

I am near-sighted too, and my eyes get dry whilst playing video games. O.o
Yeah I know what you mean. It's most probably because we're concentrating so hard on the game we forget to blink.

Yea pretty much. Dear lord it hurts when I blink. >.

I have zero problems with the 3D-feature. However, I do switch a lot between 3D and 2D. For example I play bossfights and large parts of the open area's in Zelda in 3D (that is just godly!) but StreetFighter is something I play on 2D because that adds AA and bloom and just overal a better looking game.

I'll be imagining myself to be playing RE:Revelations in 2D too because of those features.

But other then that I'm fine with it and have no problems what so ever with it.

i havent had any problems wth the 3d either. n fact, i never turn off the 3d effect. and never had my eyes strain or headaches
Same here. Ridge Racer is the only game that I have to slightly lower the effect, or else I go cross-eyed

Every person I've seen play a 3D for the first time and say "Ah it hurts my eyes!" turns the slider up all the way like an idiot.

I'm guessing majority of the people online that have experienced headaches have done the same thing. I've had my 3DS since launch and have never had an headaches or eye strain ever.

Everyone is different. Some people could tolerate more "3D" than others, but no one should put it more than half way up at first. It takes time for your eyes to adjust.

I experienced some eye strain when I first got my 3DS. Figured out it was me doing it to myself, not the display. I had a tendency to kind of tense my eyeballs up (don't know how else to explain it), as if this was required in order to see it correctly. Learned after a few days that you just look at it like anything else, with eyes perfectly relaxed. I now play everything 3DS with the slider on full, with no difficulty. And I'm 44 years old, so my lack of trouble isn't because I've got 'young eyes.'

And, I friggin love the 3D effect. Hate it (and I mean HATE IT) in movies, but in video games I think it's great. The final Bowser level in world 8 on SMB3DLand is simply amazing, perhaps my favorite example of why this really is a cool 'gimmick.'

The 3D effect of the 3D and things like 3D movies are different, I heard.

I get headaches from the 3DS's 3D so I never use it but 3D movies are fine, and this is trying to play and watch for 2+ hours. The movie went down well and made the movie really jump at you but I gave up after 5 minutes with the 3DS's 3D, its not worth getting headaches just to use the 3D since its optional.

I have trouble holding the effect. My brain keeps fighting it and then image starts to blur. Moving the slider helps for a short time then I loose it again.

I must admit I have trouble with 3D movies as well. I find it quite annoying.

The 3D effect hasn't bothered me at all, in fact i much prefer playing with the 3D effect on than off it gives the game that little edge.

I don't get any headaches, but don't really play with it, since i find it frustrating to keep it at the same angle all the time.

Love the 3D, never had any problems with it. Although, as I've said in a previous thread, I've been using this sort of 3D since I was about 6 years old so I'm used to it.

Doesnt bother me at all, I tend to leave it on max all the the time. Ive done 5 hours before without problem. There are certainly some games where the 3d is more touchy then others, but overall no problems and still very impressed since I got it.
