Well I've never had a dead pixel on my DS Phat, Lite, or DSi, sooo..
...so the law of averages says your next console is bound to have at least twenty.

YOU CAN'T ARGUE MATH.

void mathArguement(){
if(0.99999999999999... /*repeating*/ == 1)
Statement.bold()=true;
else
mathArguement();
}

The concept of an Asymptote contradicts many a mathematician's/logician's beliefs for this. Infinite recursion FTW.

Anyway, so far every handheld console I've owned other than my GBC and iPod Touch has succumbed to at least one dead pixel. Usually right in the center area of the screen too.

none of my consoles/handhelds have gotten dead pixels. One dead pixel on my pc monitor comes and goes. It's weird, it's in the same exact spot yet sometimes its there, sometimes its not.

A dead pixel will affect the effect for 3D as much as it'd affect your effect for regular games. There'd either just be a blank spot when viewing the 3D, or the 3D would immerse you to the point that you wouldn't notice it.

It's the so-called "Schrödinger's pixel".
