I don't think it is open source to be ported that is sad I know.

mate its only when they release the source code that you can tweek engines and port them legally, other wise it is locked down code.

I'm not sure if anybody's interested in it, but i would be glad if they would try to port Microprose's Magic:The Gathering game from 1997.
