I have been trying all day to get the program to work, but I think the problem lies in the ovlloader folder.

I am running the latest versions of everything, and installing latest too.

The issue is that whenever I'm booting to cfw, I get error code 2168-0001, the program showing 42000000007E15A, being the folder inside the ovlloader download. The only way to get through this error is to delete the same folder, which won't let me open Tesla at all.

I have tried reinstalling it several times, no solution. I was thinking maybe it was outdated, but I've received comments that it works up to latest firmware and cfw versions. Any help to solve this?

You are deleting /atmosphere/contents/42000000007E15A when reinstalling, correct?

What guide are you following?
or
What steps are you taking?

Yes, I delete that folder when trying to reinstall.

I am following the guide included in the Tesla Overlay post on this forum, and seeing some others from the github page and rentry too. They're all pretty much the same: download, copy to root, merge if needed, been following those same steps all the way.

please confirm by looking at System Settings. It will be a string.

What does your /switch/.overlay/ directory look like?
Just double checked, running exactly that.

The directory looks like this:

My intention was trying to install sysclk as a test to see if maybe I had to have something on that folder, but it didn't work either since I couldn't get past the crash when booting

Oh….you’re on a Mac. You likely have an archive bit issue. Go into Hekate, Select Tools and then Fix Archive Bit.

Of course, deep down I had a feeling lol. Let me try.

Just did it, said "Archive bits fixed: 4 unset and 0 set." Booting normally, Tesla running, all good!

Honestly, I did have a gut feeling that the fact I was using Mac would affect but didn't think much of it. Thank you so much!

You bet. Glad you’re sorted. Enjoy your Switch!

Does someone that has updated to 16.0.0 (both sys and emunand) has the same problem?

Now that I have updated to 16.0.0 I am having the same problem and If I delete the following folder the problem gets fixed: /atmosphere/contents/42000000007E15A

Thanks in advance,

Best regards

If you want to save yourself some (minimum) effort in the future. Transferring these files via FTP should completely avoid the archive bit issue caused by macs

Albeit this doesn’t work for all things (like updating atmosphere) but it’s another option

I came here from having the same issue. My switch is now updated to Horizon OS 16. I have the latest Atmosphere, latest Hekate, latest Tesla Menu, etc.

Still receiving an error when I open the menu and click on Edizon v1.0.2d. Any work arounds or fixes?
Yes, you need Tesla with 16 support.

https://github.com/ELY3M/Tesla-Menu/releases/tag/1 - this is a fix for now. The official Tesla Menu have it in their github so if you wish you can build it. Else you have to either download this or wait for an official package.

I have been doing testings and I found that the crashes are provoked by Edizon and sys-clk overlays. So I believe that this fix passes by these 2 overlays updating...
