Hi guys I've been messing around redone loading terraria over and over but for some reason after the new update has come out I can't stop it from hanging on the nintendo 3ds screen. I've tried downloading it from a number of sources including the Espoo and ciangel but no luck.

Anyone got any ideas?

Are you using an outdated cfw like Rxtools? If so that is going to happen.
I'm using Luma on my A9LH sysNAND, everything else is running absolutely fine. Since the recent update terraria just wont open up. Regardless of if i download it over freeshop, ciangel or through the eshop itself. ive tried deleting everything and starting again but same result each time.

Update luma to latest by replacing arm9loaderhax.bin from this zip onto the root of your sd card.

Cant you just reinstall the game and not apply the update then?

Another ide would be to check so that you dont have a faulty SD card.

Same result, hangs on the nintendo 3ds screen. Very confused

I mean I could, baffles me why it would just be this game though in that case and that repeated downloads don't fix it?

Are you sure you're using the correct version of Terraria.
Ive read that this can happen if you use a game from another region then your 3DS.
Yes i know that Luma3DS is supposed to have removed this limitation. But its always worth to check.

I was using the region free version which broke, ive since used the [EU] versions from eshop, freeshop and ciangel which have all hung. Ive just deleted everything again and the base game started so now im attempting to install the update again... hopefully itll sort it out.

All i can think of is a lack of the seed for the game but surely then downloading from the eshop should've solved that?

this is very strange.. @BORTZ also had some sort of problem like this where Yoshi's island didn't start.

i see you have two 3DS's on your sig. have you tried it on the other 3ds?
