The problem is that not even 0.0001% of tempers has any clue about politics.

EDIT: and debating with yourself is never a good idea.

Well some of the medical issues we have today are a result of modern technology. Obesity, diabetes, laziness is all a result of mass production. If it wasnt for modern technology and certain producing methods, we wouldnt have McDonalds and all the other fast food industries. Modern technology is also the result of certain cancers, such as the drinking water in Long Island, NY coming from reservoirs tainted by poorly disposing of batteries and the chemicals leaking into the soil. Microwave radiation, cell phone radiation etc. We also have certain forms of hearing disabilities, learning disabilities, social disorders which all have increased due to technology such as TV, Computers, headphones etc. Humans have lived with a smaller amount of these issues without technology. Sure some medicinal innovations were made, but a majority of them were made to combat the issues caused by the innovations we made, especially during the industrial revolution.

If I hear one more person asking or debating if the world will end in 2012 I'll spew kebabs and blood. Can you make it something a little less generic JetKun? How about something like "Has Political Correctness become weaponised" or "What do you believe is causing a resurgence in Right Wing politics"? You know, something that could be both interesting and educating.

How about "what kinds of things do right wing conserative pundits have in their assholes?"

We can, but no one will want to go back to it. This generation is too dependent on technology.

Yeah true, but there are still some pretty clever young 'uns on here who could get involved in the debate. And those without the capacity and knowledge to get involved could learn from it. And there'd be no harm in them throwing in an opinion anyway. As long as people don't immediately flame them for it it should stay civil. Or am I just doing a bit of hopeful thinking? lol

It would just be a thread full of pictures of KKK hoods, G W Bush (Sr and Jr), Sarah Palin, Hitler, Mein Kampf and various other phallic shaped objects! lol Might make a good EoF topic though.

Uh, seems like the OP wants the thread closed (make a report next-time, pl0x) from what he has edited in his first post.

Locking. PM me if you want it unlocked.
