i loaded the clean iso into the patcher and got a .bak file that wont play either.

It was specifically meant for "psy-tk6w.iso." No other release will work.

I got the same results when just removing the UPDATE folder and saving as an ISO and compressing the ISO without touching anything. I'm doing all this stuff with UMDGen 4.0.

As the nfo of the working version says.. you cannot rebuild the iso. Do not touch the update folder, just cso the iso as it is.

If anyone knows what they are actually doing its possible to hex edit the videos/update to just be null bytes, then make a cso and it should be like 350mb or so. You just CANNOT use umdgen or any repacking tool to do it, has to be manual.

Doesn't that mean it just has LBA protection? If so, that's very easy to bypass with UMDGen v4.

There's no need to hex edit anything. I have been working (well haven't been for a while) on a simple tool to dummy and relink files automatically. You can get it here. Then just run it through ciso (UMDGen even messes up an ISO that you have even freshly loaded

) and you're good to go.
