I think we need to do more than just sit back and relax. I think that recent events (eg the month+ delay in supporting 7.0.x) suggest that we can no longer take for granted that every switch and every firmware will be supported by ANY CFW and thus need more information about our options instead of taking statements like "every switch, every firmware" for granted.

Agreed, but it's not dead yet, once sx dies, then I will seek an alternate route. However at the moment, I don't feel the need to switch cfws. If you do, more power to ya.

Im going to be really dissapointed in people if this was about the whole dreamhost fiasco and the thread went on this long without mentioning it. Dreamhost cloud services and hosting for most people have been down for over 48 hours. Most websites and servers using DH are down for now with no way to get their sites up until dreamhost fixes their shit. Clients are furious as things that were meant to always stay up are going unhosted right now. A good chunk of their clients are threatening to switch hosts at this point and some are just waiting for them to go fix the issue and will switch afterwards.

Check if your URL is suspended/disabled if you do a Whois on it.

The site is fine to activate and get the newest boot.dat from. If you need to activate make sure you use SX 2.6.1

2.6 includes the TSEC key without obfuscation, which is indeed considered warez and cannot be linked

My SX OS is active... I still havent updated my emunand and my console is still on 3.02... Never updated TX OS or emunand further (my emunand is on the latest 6 something, can't even remember)...
