As costello mentions DLDI was intended to be integrated, quite in fact if my understanding of how most DS slot cards work is correct then it would not be that complex to implement.

Slowdown, this will be a good one, no idea how they will pull it off either (I do not know if a software underclock is possible).

Download play, been doing some reading on this one and it seems doable, a bit complex perhaps but definitely doable.

As for top loading/side loading, not that I am saying they have but it is a whole 30 seconds that would take to accomplish that once you have a design in front of you.

As for this newcomer stuff bear in mind although it is an M3/G6 team design the R4 are very much newcomers (the m3/g6 and even SC people are not that long established either).

It may not be side-loading. The R4 and M3 Simply have indents on the top to push the MicroSD card down but the SCDS1 for example only has an indent on one side and seems as if there is no slot when looking from the front.

They could make it more expensive, yes, but the R4 will probably catch up with these features within a month or so.

Isn't DLDI a feature thats also included in the latest update of DSOrganize or have I just misread?

Yes, it is included in many new homebrews.

I believe 7llusion is referring to DSOrganize 2.7 Final:

* Added DLDI file loading for chishm launcher.
* Added DLDI autopatching for launched nds files.
* Changed IRC to strip leading and multiple spaces.
* Disabled touch access to disconnect button on IRC.
* Fixed skipping error with select few mp3s and most mp3 streams.
* Fixed browser freeze when pressing R after re-entering browser.
