Pretty much. I can get thru the forum as well.

But the thing is, it loads very very slow.

Anyway, it's good to see them back ... or their forum at lest.

Same here. Especially for people like me who relied on Cyclo v. much

Imo, this is the worst time to get a new cart. 3DS is like 5 more months away, and we have to get a new cart that will not even last us for half a year.

So I really hope they're alive.

Yeah, but for me it's not like it just refuses to connect, it still gives the "domain expired" message.

I got it to work but only because i added this:
203.142.12.132 teamcyclops.com
To the host file in (Windows Vista/7)
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.
Sorry, don't know what it is for other systems.

i'd like to point out, like i will on the official forum in a few seconds, that the server has changed. it was in china, now it's in the U.S., i'll have to navigate the forums to find some specifics if possible.

When was this posted? Did the Cyclo Team email RHS recently and demand this? If so, that's pretty damn ballsy of them considering there hasn't been any new firmware update or news from them in the forums in how long? If I were RHS I would tell them to stick it up their ass(that is if this is true)...

That's good that the forums are back up. The devs just need to come out and announce an update or something to give their supporters some reassurance that their product is still being supported.

Yes he is, but a lot of information in some areas like that are incorrect. TeamCyclops isn't mentioned there either, and yet they're staff.

No this was Dealextreme, not RealHotStuff. And Team Cyclops had good reason for doing so because Dealextreme was selling the Cyclo for $20 less than any other site, which would have been bad for TC's business overall.

The forums are back but Team Cyclops isn't. I think they were gone months before the forums went down.

What would be the best latest firmware to use(in terms of compatibility of both games and features)? 1.59 or B4?

It's been a long time since I used my DS, but IIRC 1.59 is more compatible. The new GUI really isn't anything special IMO. It's mostly just a a way of changing some settings that were previously only changeable by manually editing the settings.xml (I can't remember the file name).

EDIT: On another note, I still can't access the forums at all. I tried flushing my DNS cache. You guys are talking about "teamcyclops.com/forums", right?

My mistake then. I must have remembered one of the old betas. Regardless, the only difference in compatibility is one game (DSi 0058) so if anyone doesn't like the new GUI (like me) they'll still be able to play the same games more or less.
