Gaming tao's adventure saving woes

anyone having problems saving with this game?

i cant seem to save and when i die i cant continue ... says 'data is empty'.

maybe i output the game incorrectly?

ok i need to go into the inn and jump onto the bed. (never knew)

so i went around town looking for a save point ><

anyways that's how one would save.

sucks you have to exit the dungeon and go back to the inn whenever you need to do a save.

you know you can leave a warp point on the floor you're curently on right?

yeah theres stuff that i need to learn by my own like using 'search' to trigger platforms and jumping into bed to 'save'.

maybe if i read the manual it would help lol.

saving warp points on each level i know but when you advance higher/lower levels , your pet doesnt allow you to go on ... kinda like go back to town and do a cutscene i guess.

love the game but dont like the running back and forth ..gets old
