I have been looking for applications to talk on DS on here for a while and I tried two of them. Both of them didn't work. Is there any that actually would work for you? (Not the trial one for like 5 min) Unlimited talk please? XD

Which two of them did you try?

Personally, SvSIP is the best but you can only phone landlines if you pay. Alternatively Walkie-Talkie allows you to talk if you are both connected to the same hotspot (not incredibly useful).

Tetris Party Deluxe. Register each others Friend Codes and start a lobby with voice chat enabled.

It doesn't make business sense for anyone to offer a VOIP service, with both incoming and outgoing calls to and from landline phones, for unlimited minutes, for free. Voipbuster with SVSIP is about as close as you're going to get.
