ROM Hack Tales of innocence patch

Hey guys i need some help. I have a clean tales of innocence rom. The new patch for it and the recommended xdeltaui program from the readme file. Now when i patch it i place the patch in the first section. The rom in the second and in the third is the new patched file.
Now when i patch it it says (xdelta3: source file too short:XD3_INVALID_INPUT)
and the newly patched rom has less kb as the original
Original:126,874 kb
Patched rom:122,880kb
and yes i put .xdelta and the end of the toi patch and it stays .dat file.

P.S. When i run the game it works fine till the black screens when I'm about to save the girl. (forgot her name)

Please help me solve this problem!

Both the original and the patched game should be exactly 128mb. Your rom is broken.

you need an untrimmed rom.

Alright guys. Thanks im downloading a different rom right now. I'll tell you how it goes out.
