Update!

Chapter 16 has been done for a few days but I haven't had time to make a proper update. Well, now I have. This is the first complete chapter since the latest release, V3.1, so I hope it'll be enjoyable for you. You can find videos at http://www.feshrine.net/youtube/ but if that's not your thing, I have screenshots for you! Make sure to keep up with the blog as I update pretty often and I post more information there than anywhere else--think of it as the ultimate place to keep up with TU, since I can't always bump topics all over the internet for every update! P.S. No there is no new patch, I don't release new patches unless there is major progress (several chapters) or bugfixes/minor updates. Oh and I don't like bumping but it can't be helped.

I know I haven't updated any forums in a while, but progress has been happening. For those who don't keep up with the blog at http://tacticsuniverse.blogspot.com, I finished upto chapter 19, started chapter 20, and then had to stop to take care of some custom battle animations and map sprites. This delayed me but after a week I ended up finishing chapter 20. Later I took a break that was almost 2 weeks--in short, I was tired of hacking.

I've recently got back into it and have been making chapters about as quickly as I can. Chapter 21 and 22 are thus complete, excluding scripts, which I have yet to insert. Chapter 23 is in-progress (I am customizing a tileset and have to make another really long cutscene with really long scripts, so it is taking some time).

That being said, here's some screenshots to tease you. I sort of avoided the plot, but at the very least, you know you can expect nothing less than high-quality interesting chapters with epic cutscenes and a refreshing Fire Emblem experience. At least, that's what I strive for.

I just have to give another thanks to Exxucus for his amazing maps. It's one of the reasons why this hack is so good IMO (I know I sound arrogant, but the intention is to praise his maps, not my hack). His awesome maps force me to do the best that I can when making these chapters and really enhance the gameplay. They aren't all super amazing, but they're never disappointing.

A new bugfix patch is out. Quoting the README and releasing it. Enjoy.

v4.4.2 December 17th, 2010

A delayed bugfix patch with several fixes and additions as well, including one

major one where chapter 18 was being skipped. Changelist included. Thanks to all

the people who reported bugs as well as Nayr and Nickt for the portrait stuff.

Changes
--------

- chapter 17x now goes to chapter 18 intead of 19
- the Haas x Liquid fight text in chapter 9 is fixed
- Fixed the Halberdier/Nomad hybrid in chapter 4
- Lorraine's (chapter 7x boss's) generic battle text is fixed
- inserted updated Anakin portrait thanks to Nickt
- inserted recolored Anna & Jake portraits thanks to Nayr
- replaced the old Yue portrait with a new one, because Dei doesn't want his

Sigurd-recolor being used anymore
- Devil Axe critical is now back to 0 (lol)

Please let me know if there are any other major problems ASAP so that I don't
lose motivation to fix it or get busy. Thanks, and enjoy.

BortzANATOR , have you ever played a Fire Emblem game before, ever ?
it's a great Turn Based RPG Game , i'd highly recommend you try both Fire Emblem : The Blazing Sword and Fire Emblem : The Sacred Stones for the GBA . after , try Path of Radiance on GameCube and Radiant Dawn on Wii .

somewhere in between there, try this custom mod xD .
