I've Noticed a lot of people have this problem, but none of the solutions work. I have a O3DS on 9.6.0 and it freezes when i start sysupdater. L+A+Down+B doesnt do anything in any of my homebrew applications and i have access to webkithax and themehax. Please Help!

Open ftbrony then L+R+Down+B then open sysupdater. keep trying this until it works. It may seem like it won't, but it will.

It's hit or miss, there's no reliable way to make it work, you have to keep trying, since you can't update to 10.3 anymore, your only choice is to try until it works. BTW are you using safesysUpdater?

10.4 is now the newest but the block many things, it came out a few days ago
and
you did remove manual set DNSs (like Tubehax(that can used to block system updates) that you may have set on 3DS, before starting to downgrade

I did remove the dns, but that did nothing. Is safesysupdater only for 10.3?

Isn't SafeSysUpdater geared specifically for downgrading 10.3? Could be why you're getting an issue with 9.6.
No it isn't. The downgrade method is meant to work on all updates above 9.2 (except 10.4). All it does it check your files to make sure they are not corrupt, missing, wrong region/wrong system.
