Help!I updated my psp to the official firmware 6.60 from 6.39 and at about 88% it said the system update failed. I restarted my psp and if I try to update it again it says i'm in the latest version, but I don't think it was fully updated. PS: i wanted to upgrade to 6.60 then downgrade to 6.20 for permanent hack should i downgrade still? or do i do something else?

EDIT: im using a psp 2001

Check your date code, it's below the battery.
If it's below 8C then it's fully hackable (doesn't mattef if you brick it or not, JigKick battery and magic memory stick can unbrick it)

Yes, downgrade it to.... idk 5.50 iirc.
Then install a CFW.

ok so i just downgraded to 6.20 and it said the same thing:
"The update failed contact technical support for assistance (LPTFFFFFFFE) "
Someone please help me!?!?!

Edit: i got some blue screen when i started my psp back up again, i shutdown the psp and i think its fixed.... Someone help please!
