Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. Hacking System transfer and softmod

Hey everyone,
A few months ago I softmoded my original Wii. Recently the disc reader stop working so i decided to do a system transfer to my Wiiu. I moved Homebrew and riivolution to an SD card. The transfer was successful but do I have to softmod my original Wii again or is it still modded after the transfer. Thanks

Well I would imagine any modded IOS would not transfer. But I'm not sure if hacked channels would transfer over. Try to move the hacked channels on your sd card back to your wii u. If it doesn't work just use wuphax.

Ideally you would make a nand backup JUST before doing the transfer, then restore the nand backup afterwards.

I know this doesn't necessarily help the OP but thought I'd mention it in case someone else finds themselves in a similar situation
