You can just install the cIOS30 over IOS30 from the wad installer file.

I'm almost 100% sure you can just install all of the cIOS wads over their IOS counterpart. If you use Multi-cIOS-Installer it's more tricky. Some of the IOS have to be removed before the cIOS can be installed in their place.

And to answer somebodys previous post about what kind of brick is cause if there's a problem in the installation, we don't know. We don't have anybody bricked yet from trying this that I know of. I think that the only way it'll brick you is if you get the IOS that System Menu uses corrupted. IOS30 in this case unless you've patched System Menu to use a different IOS.

Now I need to ask for a little help from Somebody. I finished my JiizBlaster AutoBootLoader/Recovery system today at work. Got everything mounted nicely in a project box. It's all tested out and Works perfectly with cool features I didn't even plan on, but just happened by chance. I've got pictures that i want to post of it but I've never used one of these online photo places that you link to to display pictures in these messages. Can somebody direct me to a good place that I can upload my pictures to so that I can display them here.

People, this thread is getting weird for newcommers...
I wonder if anyone could point out the procedure from the beginning to the end, step by step.

I'm not asking for files here, I just wanna know exactly what this all does and how it is done.
Plz anybody, be so kind and make this clear.

thank you

Yea I was really lucky that all these features are working on my setup. And the really funny thing is.... I decided to use the wireless controller instead of the wired one because it had phillips head screws instead of Tri-Wing. I fiddled around for about 15 minutes then gave up on getting apart the official GC wired controller. The only thing i would be happier about with the wireless controller's circuitry is if the circuit board was smaller. Since Im using pre-existing end user part, I had to put my wireless button into a pretty big project box. I didn't want to unsolder and remove some of the controls it has on it in case I want to further modify it.

I'm going to register with photobucket right now, then I'll take a couple pictures for you guys and post them. I think You'll like how the setup looks and operates. Hope to have pictures posted in about 30 minutes.

Hrmmmm.... procedure..... lemme see.....

1. Install cIOS9-55 from the wad files in the zip

that pretty much covers it. All IOS replaced by CIOS with Dip7 module. All originals and 1:1 copies act as originals. Except for copies still running 3x. Out of Region still has to be launched with rebooter or from Gamma or SoftChip.

I think we'll get around to making an official procedure soon. It hasn't spread too far yet but it's looking pretty stable. Nobody has reported problems of any type that I know of.

I thought somebody stated here that it works. And this would be proof that 002 is not copy protection, just don't use a loader protection.

What tool should I use to patch wads myself?
Again, I don't ask for the files, just for the tools to patch dip7 or maybe 6 in them.

IS the only way to get me diles from the servers and use the multi cios installer?

There are 2 steps:
1. The system menu has to recognize backups
done with patching the system menu to use IOS249, or recommend, replace the dip from IOS30 with the one from your cIOS

2. If you now launch a game from the disc channel the IOS specified in the tmd from the game is loaded, if you don't understand what the result of this is, you shouldn't do this.

Thanks. I do understand. now it's getting clear.
So, to patch any wad to use a cios I would use that tool posted by OSW on first page.
But how to patch the DIP? Only way to use multi cios installer or is there a way I can patch the dip in a iosXX.wad, on my pc?

Ok, here are my first pics of my Initial Completed and 100% working JiizBlaster AutoBootLoader/Recovery dongle.

Another Front Shot

JiizBlaster3.jpg

Here s the Wireless Receiver. You can see the Connect button on the botton of the side of it. The connect button functions as AutoBoot off.

JiizBlaster4.jpg

This shows me holding it up, It's wireless after all.

JiizBlaster5.jpg

A Shot for Size Comparison. It's so big because I put the whole guts of a Wireless Gamecube controller in there, leaving all the controls intact in case I need to modify it to use other buttons or directions.

djtaz_girlfriend.jpg

Hey! How did that get in there. DjTaz girl?friend.

JiizBlaster6.jpg

And Finally, the Dongle/Receiver unplugged.

Questions?

I haven't found a single NTSC 1:1 game that doesn't work perfect for me. Even things like The price is right and TV game show party don't crash now.
NFS Underground just Runs like an original. In fact, all NTSC 1:1 run like originals except for the 3x.
