Yea it's 13.4. I was thinking of using WAD Manager but it always prompts me to select an IOS to run off of. And I never know which one I should choose. Or if the IOS I choose is dependent on which wad I'm trying to install.

Also there's these two files that auto generate in the USB SNEEK folder that if I don't delete everytime I can't restart UNEEK then next time. One is a cache file and the other one is a cfg file.. Why is this happening? It's like these files aren't saving correctly.

yeah if you dont go into the settings and change some stuff that will happen
when it starts press 1(might have to hold it down for a sec) and it should come up with your game list
then press plus here you need to change game region to usa and update game list to on or yes or whatever it is then go down to save and press a
then it will show games in disc channel and should boot up everytime for you

Alright.. So I got it to work, but I don't think it likes my harddrive very much. When I ran everything to a USB Flash drive it worked a lot better. The flash drive allowed UNEEK to correctly setup all the cache and config files it needed to.

Then I ended up switching over to neek2o and testing that out. I setup neek2o on my flash drive.. once all the setup files were made I moved everything back to my harddrive and it worked there too. I like it but I don't see the difference? What are the PRO's of using it over UNEEK?

neek20 you can have multiple nands and it will use the .wbfs files like in the regular loaders also on the googlecode page for it there is a loader built just for it based off wiiflow and it is worked on alot by Overjoy on these forums contact him and he can give you alot more info

if you wanted to you could get the config files from the flash drive like you did before and tranfer them to HD for uneek regular up to you

Oh that's right.. I think that's why I started trying it out to begin with, was because of the compatibility with current game folders. What about GameCube games though? Is the DiscEx format the only way that works?

Also.. I'm realizing that I don't really use the loaders. I'm using it more for the added compatibility of GC, VC, and WiiWare games that don't work on my current set up. I don't see myself needing loaders for those.

for game cube yes and the loaders like the one i sent you and other can load the wiiware and vc just fine look for snort48+ it is a channel for the wii and it will let you install more channels than the wii will hold and let you move them around so you can see the ones you want on the sysmenu

Awesome! Thanks for guiding me to snort48+. It was part of a thread that had some other cool/useful wads. I wonder if that's why I kept having the issue when UNEEK would try to load the emuNAND with all the game wads installed. I had more games then I had channel slots. I don't know if that matters though.

Okay.. So I'm back to UNEEK again. And it's working from the harddrive pretty well now. But some apps aren't working and it doesn't recognize my gamecube games anymore. I'm emulating my original nand and I replaced my 249 with cIOS 249 v14.

Is there something else I should be doing? I'm actually getting these problems with both neek2o and uneek. Except postloader seems to work in neek2o. Snort's and VC/Wiiware is working, but Wad Manager, Post Loader, and Homebrew Filter won't load (with UNEEK).

in uneek cios wont work for anything they will just lock it up
uneek all the regular ios are just like cios on regular wii just load up mmm or wiimod reload to ios 56(usually bestto use and then you can install wads or whatever
gamecube games wont work from uneek yet best to use regular nand and loader with cios or use DiosMios on regular nand(this is what i do)

Well that sucks... The GameCube's compatibility was the one that got me interested in all this to begin with. Cuz a few of the games I have, DM won't play. I was hoping this would be the fix. At least I got to learn about different ways of how to use emulated nand! :P

ah sorry about that gamecube stuff really just started getting going over the last few months real good with uneek and dios mios well i guess its been a yr but a while ago i should have made myself clearer on that again sorry

No worries.. Like I said, I'm glad I learned about it. And I'm probably start using neek for my VC and Wiiware. Thanks again for everything scooby.
