no limit i know of the first boot with a clean nand will take 15 to 20 min to start so start it and let it set for about 20 min and then if you still get nothing get back to me

are your folders set up like i said in the other post
are you using a fat32 32kb partitioned first on HD
did you use the program of mine to dump your nand

I let Modmii generate a clean nand so some of the folders aren't initially created, but eventually when I run UNEEK they get auto created. And I set the settings of the clean nand to replicate those of my own.. So 4.1U with my serial. This worked. But once I installed wads with ShowMiiWads it didn't.

Yea, my harddrive is set up right.

No, I wasn't sure if I should use my own nand dump, because my original nand dump contains all the original softmodded IOS's. Plus when I tried with my own nand dump, it didn't work. Also.. what would be the point of running UNEEK with same nand that's already on my Wii? I wanted to use original IOS's to hopefully improve compatibility.

i use my own nand and never had a problem you can use homebrewfilter in uneek or wiimod to install any wad you want after you get it going instead of using showmiiwads might help you out
Do they allow batch installations? That's the only reason I use ShowMiiWads.. maybe that's the problem though.
do you have a nand back up from right after you put HBC and bootmii it if so you can extract it and use those folders
Yea I followed Mauifrogs Softmod Any Wii guide exactly.. and my nand dump from right after installing HBC has all the softmodded IOS's. Did I do something wrong?

Awesome... I guess I chose the wrong nand.. I'm not sure what happened.. but my original nand from right after HBC "DOESN'T" have modded IOS's. It makes sense why it shouldn't.. and why it doesn't.. guess I overlooked it.. or chose the wrong nand. So I'm gonna redo everything using my original nand.

cool thats what i used to begin with and mine works awesome
which HBC does it have ? if it has 1.07 or less you can use it in uneek
Funny that you mention that because as soon as I ran HBC it messed everything up. My HBC is 1.1.0

Everything was going great.. until I ran HBC. The reason why I liked Modmii's nand was because during the nand creation process it also installed certain channel forwarders for me all on it's own. I don't have anything to load mmm with on my own nand.. so I ran HBC without thinking (Modmii mentioned that HBC wasn't compatible with uneek.) So anyway, after I click on HBC.. screen goes black.. disc drive starts flashing.. hangs there for a really long time, so I shut down. Now whenever I load bootmii it just hangs and doesn't get to uneek.

It's frustrating.. I've never messed with software so fickle. It wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't running the nand of my USB hdd. It's not a passport.. it's a sata drive in an external enclosure so all the disconnecting/reconnecting becomes tedious because there's no "safely remove hardware" option.. so I have to shutdown everytime. But understand that uneek is the only option for me because I don't wanna run it off an SD card.

What's default channels are safe for me to remove from my emuNAND? Can I remove HBC? And where would I be able to find reliable channel forwarders?

yeah you can remove the HBC like what channel forwarders? get homebrewfilter and install it with showmiiwads and then you can launch mmm or wiimod with it you can delete the news forecast mii any of those if you want to

I found the Postloader wad in my COPY_TO_SD files so I installed that. Does homebrewfilter add anything different? Also, backup loader and Nintendo Channel.. can I get rid of those too? I kept all the hidden channels.

EDIT: Also there was an Neek2o wad in those files.. do I need that in my emuNAND? There was also a channel in Modmii nand called SNEEK.. Does that have any use in emuNAND?

homebrewfilter is only an app like HBC to launch other apps you can delete backup loader and nintendo channel neek20 is setup way different than regular neek(if you get a chance you might try it some people like it better than regular neek)dont need it or sneek one

hey what loader did you like using on your real nand

I tested it.. and Uneek is loading up and the channels I installed are there, but they're not loading up. And how do I configure it so that Disc channel knows where to look for my games?

Also MMM isn't allowing me to install wads to my real nand. I just tried using it to install wiiXplorer channel forwarder and that bootmii forwarder you gave me, and it won't install either one.
