When you run syscheckhd on 480i mode in videosettings it's ok. But in 576i it has some black bar below the background image/screen. It could be aware of PAL mode...

I'm working on this project again a little. I might have a new release by the end of the year, probably sooner. I've got a lot more responsibility than I did when I actively worked on homebrew (work, HacksDen, and personal stuff), so I have little time for programming. Is there anyone here who would be willing to do some testing if I need it?

Hi Joostin. I'd like to help a little by translating the project to Spanish, or by making some fixes to the translation if necessary. Would you be ok with that? Where can I send you the translated source code?

Thanks for the app, it's great.

There is already a Spanish translation. If your Wii/vWii is set to Spanish, it will use that. That being said, a lot of the translation was done through online translators. If you'd look through this and check for bad grammar, I'd appreciate it.

I'm on it. But one question: does the GUI support special characters, like accent marks [á é í ó ú] and opening question and exclamation signs [¡ ¿] ?

Nope. Only standard ones.

I should be releasing 2.4 sometime this week. I just need to go over the final tests.

Done. Would you like me to upload the translation to a special place or to any host? The translation was quite good, I just corrected some bad grammar and replaced some words for more consistent ones, and changed the order in some sentences.

Thanks. Paste it here and give the the return link. I'll make sure to credit you.

Don't worry about credits. This is my hobby and my little contribution to you ;)
Thanks. Why did you change:
Code:
MSG_TestingIOS = "Analizando las vulnerabilidades de %s...";
to
Code:
MSG_TestingIOS = "Analizando %s...";
It should mention vulnerabilities for consistency.

Weird, I was sure it didn't say "vulnerabilidades" and added it. But yes, it should include that word. I'm sorry.

SysCheck HDE 2.4.0 is now public!
  • Added check for Beer ticket
  • Added skipped IOS's to list
  • Removed the need to reload the runtime IOS
  • SysCheck directory is created if it doesn't exist
  • Fixed incorrect runtime IOS type
  • Fixed vWii cIOS's sometimes showing as regular cIOS's
  • Fixed crash when the language is set to Italian, French, or Spanish
  • Fixed update function
  • Updated Spanish translation (thanks NaxoR93)

The new Beer Ticket check will allow you to detect if a vIOS is preventing a Wii U from updating.

Did a little change to images in data folder, so buttons, icons, and logo show in correct aspect ratio for 16:9 users.
Also new background flavor :P
