Hacking Question sxos Loader + Hard Drive Question

Hello all,

I have a Nintendo switch with sxos.
Was hoping if someone could please explain to me the steps i need to take to have a portable hard drive plugged into my switch dock and to load games from hard drive to internal sd card of switch?
Do i need to use a y cable with the portable hard drive 2 TB?
