Hacking Sx pro jig not working?

hi team,

I have an older switch, about 6 months old a least and just received the sx pro. I find it really hard to get into the sx os. If the jig is in and I just turn on my switch with the
Power button should the switch be able to boot into the os? Because mine can and I thought I should getting a black screen?

You need to hold the Volume UP button also. Jig in, Power Button + Volume Up Button.

Thanks, yes I am aware of that however if doesn’t work most of the time
So I am trying to work out where the issue is. So my question is, with the jig in should the switch still be able to boot up normally? Because mine does

Yes, it should.

It should be able to, but only when you aren’t holding volume +. When you have volume + held, it should boot into rcm.

It was me being a goof... i didn’t realise that you have to hold up THEN press power on. I was trying to push them at the same time
