Hacking SX Pro Dock Mode questions

i know that it isn’t traditionally supported obviously since there aren’t any type c connections on the dock itself.

I have an idea to get this working while switch it docked but it requires a Pro dongle and adapter to be preformed.

I don’t have my Pro dongle yet to test this theory out but will once I get it.

Has anyone tried attaching the dongle to a type c to USB 3 converter and connecting it to the system trying all three ports?

There is one type C connection on the dock, which is used for power.

Though if the USB C connection on the Switch itself can be used for both power and data, plus drawing power from the dock and sending data to the TV. I could be wrong in saying this, but there is a possibility that it can draw data (I don't think anyone has tried?) if there was a dual USB-C female to USB-C male cable connected (I've never seen such a cable though).
