Would it be possible to play clean copies of games (smash ultimate to be specific) online on a switch with sx os installed?

Possible, yes. Safe? No. From what I've gathered, Nintendo can see if you're using CFW.

If you own a copy of a game and want to play online then theres no reason to be in cfw for that purpose. Cfw should only be used anonymously meaning offline at all times

No not in a convenient manner. Only way is by console reboot from cfw without Auto RCM to get in ofw. If you want to use cfw again then you'll need the jig/dongle Hold Volume+ and the Power button at the same time

Sx os has sd emunand. Create one and keep sysnand clean without any traces of cfw for online use and use emunand for cfw and xci/nsp but keep it always offline and never disable stealth mode. Thats the best set up we have today to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Pretty much you lose privileges to their server anything revolving/requiring Eshop, but its a console ban not an account ban. We may have cfw, but we cannot go apeshit with it like the Wii U days
Nintendo has turned over a new leaf. I'd assume Youtube would work if you had it before the ban, theres a nsp of youtube for banned users out there. {google}
