Hacking Switching Gateway to CFW...

I got a couple of questions.

1.I want to change my gw emunand with a CFW(Im thinking cakes or luma.)

2.I also want to upgrade my sd card after I install a CFW.(A 16gb one with gateway emunand, to a 32gb.)

Can someone explain how can I do these things.

Luma is the only firm that gets updated regularly anymore.

Put luma3ds on sd card, launch homebrew, select luma, boot into emunand.

do you use menuhax or a9lh?
if menuhax add the luma hb boot.3dsx in the root of sd
if a9lh add the luma arm9loaderhax.bin in the root of sd
and if you use a boot manager put it some where but change the name to smt and add a directory to the payloads

Yeah, should work with no issues.

Luma does not use the Gateway cart.

Really just play with friends online and locally with the n3ds full potential.
I think that the gateways limiting that...
(Also i read that the gateway has some bricking codes.)
