hey.
having problems with my switch on sx os.
was working fine yesterday.
installed autorcm.
and tried another sd card with boot.dat and all files needed with some new games today as other card was full.
now it boots into rcm sends payload and all i get is a battery icon. no homescreen or nothing.
put old sd card back in and same thing.
please help.

did you try uninstalling autorcm?
yeah uninstalled it.
but its like the battery has died and wont charge.
just battery icon in top left and has been plugged in charging for 30 mins, so as i unplug it it turns off again.
wont even boot normal fw. same thing again.

Oh your battery died?
If that's the case you need to leave your switch on the charger for a while

has been charging a while. 45 mins or so but its not holding a charge.
battery icon is not moving at all.
and wont get to the home screen even when plugged in charging.
switch splash screen then black screen with battery icon thats it.
has auto rcm messed it up.
was at 45% last night when shut down now this.

ive experienced that too
does it go to the nintendo logo then shuts off?

When I turned on AutoRCM, I felt like the battery drains pretty fast even if the screen was off. I turned it off and the battery was normal again.

Leave it off for longer than 45 mins, it is probably going to need to charge for half a day or more. Phones do similar things

its powered on normally.
i think autorcm is to buggy with battery drain and will stick to the normal way of getting into rcm.
thanks for all the help.
you're all life savers

happened to me when i turned on autorcm the first time. had to charge it for about 3 hours and then it started working normal again. i think autorcm discharges the battery or maybe messes up with the calibration

So if you don't use auto rcm but load up the SX once and let the switch come out of sleep, what mode will you be in?

Batteries that literally go flat are notoriously hard to charge up again. That's why they shut off way before this happens. They can't be jump started like a car. You need to leave it plugged in for a fair old time to get the trickle going again. Would advise a recalibration after this too!

this has nothing to do with autorcm
