Hello I have a v1 switch that wasnt booting and was charging at 0.4A. had a short around the p13usb. Changed the chip and it booted fine but wasnt docking. took it apart again and found one of the hdmi filter coils that was faulty. Replaced it and it still wouldnt dock.but all of a sudden it wouldnt boot anymore. Shows nintendo logoand shuts down.

1-sending HEKATE it would only show the battery logo on a black screen (tried different known good batteries)
2-sending reinx it still wouldnt boot (shows a lot of info saying its patching hos and when it comes to booting,it shuts down)

Battery reads 3.69v
usb port shows no damage
removed p13usb chip and tried to boot without it (as suggested by @SheriffBuck) to same result

Try an older version of hekate. I'm having the same issue on a console that I can't get to boot into hekate 5.2.0. I have no problem booting into 5.1.3

It booted the older version of hekate as @Ttm3 suggested but it doesnt read the battery state. I replaced the bq241 but it still would not boot or read the battery. Tried different batteries with same results.
it stays on even without the power cable on hekate or any other payload

Did replacing the max chip allow it to start?
The one on my donor board is not better so I will have to order some. but I am confident replacing it would solve the issue.

Have you found them reasonably priced? When I went looking for them they seemed pretty pricey

I just had one with the same symptoms I replaced the fuel gauge but that didnt seem to help until I loaded hekate. It loaded into hekate then shut itself off then restarted and now it is fully loading. Not sure if this is normal but from now on after i replace a fuel gauge first thing I'll be doing is going into hekate
