Title says it all, I also found that some areas of the mesh on the back appeared to be very dark as if it overheated. ̶I̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶f̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶j̶o̶y̶c̶o̶n̶s̶ ̶s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶g̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶I̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶n̶e̶c̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶s̶w̶i̶t̶c̶h̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶u̶n̶i̶t̶ ̶w̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶h̶o̶l̶d̶ ̶a̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶g̶e̶. This is a second hand switch that is the unpatched model and I want to save this switch and avoid sending it to nintendo where they'll probably replace it entirely.

I would attach pictures of the error code but I forgot to take a picture before and the battery is now dead so I can't boot it and see the error code.

edit: turns out the joycons weren't actually charging. my bad
