Hey guys,

I have modded a Switch OLED with a custom Tinyfly and kamikaze method. The switch run fine for several months, i didn't use it for month and now i have several problem. When the switch boot on hekate, it said that the battery is at 0% whereas it is full (photo 1), when i try to boot on emummc i have a fatal error message (photo 2). When i try to boot on OFW i have nothing, just a black screen. I try to change the chip with one i bought on Ali, same problem. I remove everything and the switch doesn't boot. Does anybody know what can be the problem ?

It might be that the communication line with the battery management chip is broken or a resistor used for the I2C communication fell off.
If Hekate reports all zeros in the battery info screen then this might be your problem.

The OFW does not boot if it can't read that information as your Switch might set your house on fire due to a faulty battery.
Or at least that is what Nintendo is trying to prevent from happening.

Both the traces and resistors are located where one usually uses a screwdriver to remove the metal shield from the APU/CPU.
So maybe to a close visual inspection around the shield and check for scratches or missing components.

The emummc should be able to boot afaik.
Seen that you got that 0100000000005 error, there might be some other issue.
Some people mention a corrupted emummc as the likely cause of that error.
Maybe first try to get the OFW up and running again.

Thanks for the answer mate. I don't see any damaged traces, and that is weird is that the console runs fine for months. I think i will try to change the fuel gauge ic to see if i can boot on OFW
