Dear all,
I have a day-1 switch modded with Hekate/Atmosphere.
As you can imagine, I put backups in the microsd, and the latter one gets hot. The FPC on the motherboard cooked once already (1-bit speed reading), and the connector was replaced by a repair shop.
Last week, it happened again (after 5 months) and I took it to a repair shop. They again replaced the FPC but the console now does not boot anymore. It does not go to RCM.
When I switch it on, I can hear a buzzing like coil whine from the mobo. I can not see damage on the mobo. The FPC connector appears fine.
I believe it is a dead switch, but if you have suggestions to recover it, it is very welcome.
Molte grazie.

I would start by measuring if you have a shortage on the voltage lines.
All that takes is a simple multimeter.
That 1 bit speed reading says the something is messed up with that connector.
If you have the tools, just pull the SD card reader connector from the board.

I do have a multimeter but I do not know where I should take the measures.
Could you please be more precise?
The 1-bit reading was the symptom of the broken connector, I have repaired it once. Now, they have messed something in replacing the connector.

Now I am away from home. I will post some pics once I get back. As I said I could not spot any damage, however, you might have a better understanding than I.
