So I just had Xenoblade 2 freeze on me (hard freeze, had to power off the system manually). Now my computer won't recognize the system via autoRCM. I've tried holding in the power for 12 seconds/repowering on multiple times, but no detection. What can I do to fix this?
Hello there, I'm a newbee here.
My switch was stuck at Nintendo switch logo for about 5 months. I tried google it and it said it's caused after updated to 5.0 when using a 3rd party dock.
To tell the truth, I don't even own any other dock except the one came with switch. I tried to find a solution to revive my switch with drained the battery for many times and no help at all.
I never tried hack my switch.
I see some lights ahead when I found this forum.
Is there someone can help tell me how to revive my switch? Any help is much appreciated.
Using exFAT? Your sdcard is probably corrupt. You'll have to reinstall all your games and get all the files back.
I keep all my files from my sdcard on my computer and keep all my nsps just in case. Or you could format it to FAT32 which is safer from corruption. You just have to use SplitNSP so nsps above 4 gb can fit on FAT32, or network or usb install them.
no soul -
it seems im not sure how to install a game from your sd card ONTO the switch in order to delete it from the sd card - i thought the cfw is playing the xci off teh sd card the whole tiem. man if im that confused oh well i guess im learning. in any case what did you figure out to connect to computer with usb to xfer?
please tell - with detail and clear me up if any possible way _
The game itself was installed to the system memory, so that's a little weird. I always closed the game when I was done playing. The system was kept in sleep mode when I wasn't playing, but the game was never "open" when I went to sleep if that makes sense. I thought maybe I'd avoid any crashing if I took those precautions.
But yeah, reformatted the card (to FAT32), and restored an old backup of my SD card and it worked. Thank you very much for the suggestion!
Didn't do that yet. Maybe I'll give it a try if I still can't get any other solution.Have you tried removing the battery and putting it back in? Also try it docked and hook it up to your tv without the battery. If neither work it probably needs repair.
Yeah you can, only need to have CFW running. Can I normally install and play nsp that were already converted from xci on my switch? I don't have my switch keys dumped or anything.
Does anyone have exFat working on 6.1?
My system says an update is needed to use the microSDXC memory card (it's 16gb). If I go to update it says it's already up to date.
I tried following a guide for adding exFat support but it didn't change anything.
You should be able to just push the hekate payload and do a backup without changing sd filesI have been using reiNX for some months. But I want to make another nand backup using hekate. Do i just have to change the payload (i.e. use hekate 4.2 payload instead of reinx in tegragui) or I have to change sd files too? ANd if yes, won't there be overlap if I keep both reinx and hekate sd files together?
Thank you. I have 35GB+ free space. After backing up, I can just continue using reinx payload again right? It's quite convenient then. No messing around sd filesYou should be able to just push the hekate payload and do a backup without changing sd files
That's assuming you have enough free space that is.
Yes you should be able to, though be sure to copy the nand dump over to your pc and keep it somewhere safe. Best practice is to have multiple copies in multiple locationsThank you. Yes, I will. I already made a full backup with boot 0/1 everything when I was on 4.1. But it's been a long time and I am on 6.1 now. So i thought of amking another one.
