5.1 supports both Checkpoint and EdiZon - So feel free to use what you want and just follow this:

Thanks for confirmation, also question for you;

If i have Auto-Inject option in TegraRCMGui and want my switch to go into LayeredFS without selecting (using VOL buttons and pressing Power), should I use SwitchBlade-SDFilesV3?

Currently i'm using CTCaer 2.3 mod and running RomFS firmware... so wonder what the difference are between the 3 SDFilesV3.

If you want LayeredFS you need to use the custom hekate build that comes with it - Instant-launch (similar to SwitchBlade) will come with the next CTCaer Hekate version

Hey all, I just extracted my Zelda cert to inject my roms with, but it came in a cert.bin. When I went to XCI Explorer to inject, it wants me to use a .dat file, how do I convert it?

EDIT:: XOXO In another thread answered this for me. In case anyone was also wondering, XCI Explorer also supports bin files. Select all files and use your bin.

I think i have a very good noob question/ask for advice: do you think SX OS will be furuteproff?? in the sense that TX will support it with updates (as nintendo ups switch firmwares) to make new game releases playable in backup form. I´m a bit hesitant about spending the $30 (i know, it´s not that much) if it´s going to be a temporary thing.

It might not be compatible with the new Switch revision that is coming (Mariko).

My Switch is currently on 3.0 and I’ll be backing up my NAND. What’s the best way to update to a new FW and to which one?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Follow this guide:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/

This will allow you to revert back to 3.0 if in the future there is a way to go into CFW without jig/rcm method (or any other reason)

You probably want to go to the latest FW 5.1; pretty much everything works

Right, but aside of hardware revisions: will we be updating SX OS parellel to nintendo´s oficial updates? (if we want to play newer game backups of course)
Because SX OS relies on a hardware exploit, Nintendo can never patch it out. They can patch features of SX OS such as the homebrew launcher or backup loader, if possible, but TX can just counter back with updates of their own. Its the battle of whose more stable.

Hi everyone, I have a doubt how can I use tin foil without open the joycon. Is there a tutorial or pics where I can see the right way to do it?

Thanks you a lot!

I remember seeing a thread about dumping games that are installed on the NAND or perhaps SD. Was it a trick of the eyes or is there a way to dump games that are installed on your console and not a cart?
After getting banned, I kind of want to keep my coveted digital title, Furi, safe, along with the rest.

This video is what I used before I got a jig. A jig is much better, though, so if you have access to a 3D printer, you should go that route. Another tip, cut yourself the smallest piece of tin foil you can, then wrap it around a 2 mm width sewing needle and flatten it.

If you are referring to this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/dumping-your-titles-from-sd-a-bit-advanced.507821/, then your eyes do not deceive you. Although the process is a little complicated because they need to be extracted from your NAND dump rather than from within the Switch.

Just so I got this right, if, for example, I have a Switch with FW < 2.3.0 and I want to update to that version, I can use a game cartridge such as Splatoon to update (taken from goo.gl/kvSWgD)?
