Depends on what you using, sysnand or emunand.

I use emunand when i do homebrew stuff and sysnand where i play my bought games but in the past i needed to but cfw on sysnand in order to fix warmboot error if sysnand and emunand firmware were mismatched or updated in wrong order

You don't need warmboot for emunand, you only need it for sysnand to boot into horizon os on a new firmware the first time it boot.

Then that must be it i forgot since it was long time i last updated. If i understand correctly there isnt a way to avoid warmboot error after update?

If you updated sysnand/ofw the sysnand/ofw need to be able to boot correctly once to get the warm boot file.

I wanted to make a backup of my switch cartridge and especially its update/dlc.
I used the mtp responder and got the base game, but then the game dev suddenly pushed an update. So i updated the cartridge's using sysnand semi-stock and switch back to CFW again. I opened mtp responder but no dlc/update was found, the game i still version 1.0. This game is not yet shared online hence my frustration with the update.
Can someone help me?

edit: i figured it out

1. Used cwf sysmmc to copy update to PC via dbi
2. installed update to emummc via dbi from pc
3. used nxdump to redump games + update to pc

I have a v1 switch, is there a way to boot it without a pc? I dont have a chip soldered but i had/have the xos dongle. Is there a way to use it ? I tried to connect it to the pc to see if i could the payload but it didnt work. Seeing if theres a way. Maybe copying the fuse so i can rename it as boot.bin to see if it would work.

Without modchip, your options are computer and rcm dongle

You mean the dongle from the xos (from back in the day). Yes i still have it. What do i need to do to make it work ?

Also, does anyone happen to remember what the short cable is for from the Xos box? I dont remeber since its been so long

Think you need to convert the fusee.bin to boot.dat

There are tools out there that allow you to convert the .bin to .dat

You mean charging the dongle? If so whats the color supposed to be? Becwuse im only using it for a quick second to power on. i dont need to worry about updating fw, i update only when i need to on my pc and sd card

Which Firmware ist necessary for Heave Ho 2 ? I installed it with several methods, always it cant be started.
i have the latest sigpatches und syspatch is running also.
Same goes for RType 3.

I haven't checked it personally but a certain site has 22.0.0 listed as requirement for the base game, 22.5.0 for v1.0.1.

Tried installing it with the latest Russian version of DBI? DBI rarely ever fails me. Do you have the latest keys on your console? Get them with the latest Lockpick_RCM 2.0.0 and reinstall the game with the latest DBI.

Hi Everyone!

I am on 18.1.0|AMS 1.7.1|E but want to play a game with a base requirement of 21.0.0.

Do I need to only upgrade Hekate Atmosphere and Sig patches?
Or do I need to update firmware with Daybreak also?

Additionally, should I use the Hekate Atmosphere and sig patches released for 21.0.0 or should I use the latest? I seem to remember drawbacks to upgrading at different firmware levels.
