Correct they don't interfere with each other.

so i tried to hack my switch but it keeps popping up the message failed to apply 'emummc', failed to launch HOS press any key... and nothing else. I seriously don't know what I did wrong and i've tried restarting it once but im still in a dead end, please help

Can I install mods for games I own physically? For example SMO Online or MM-LINX.

Yeah you can install mods for games you own. I own a hardcopy of BOTW and I play zelda's ballad. atmosphere just reads the contents folder then loads whatever is in there. It's the same process as downloaded games

alright, is it partition based emummc or a folder based emummc? Go to your emummc settings and verify the right emummc is enabled.

Now I have stuffed up again.
I now came into an issue with Tinfoil with the error The Software was closed because an error occurred. I thought you know what it is the tinfoil that needs to be updated but that failed and still got the error. I also noticed since the update, If miss the welcome page that says press home to login I have to power off and reboot otherwiser I cannot get in.
I think i really have stuffed.

Unfortunately, tinfoil doesn't work on the latest firmwares. I have heard of some workarounds using a custom atmosphere fork. I have also heard of a successor to tinfoil called cyberfoil. DBI is also great and it's what I personally use to access my NAS

Edit:

I was rushing to get to bed, so I forgot to slap in the sigpatches.

In addition, I’ve gotten fusee to work. Not exactly sure what I did other than the sigs. Games are mostly working. Some newer ones are giving me corrupt messages. I’ll reinstall them. I recall totk doing the same thing when I first installed it along with one or two other games.

I still can’t figure out the mp4 sdk. I dumped my keys from my current emu mmc and put them in the folder, but it fails anyway when patching. Dbi won’t allow me to install with the “old firmware”.

I’m late to the game on ultrahand or overlays in general. No idea on how to use it or anything. Guess I’ll look that up at some point.

I try Switch Time but I don't know how to make it sync with internet time.

No your fine, we all go through this, In hekate click on emummc and check if it says enabled, even if it says enabled click on change emummc and click on RAW SD Partition (I don't know the exact name but something along those lines).

I like using QuickNtp, it's a overlay so ofcourse have tesla and ovlloader installed as well. https://github.com/ppkantorski/QuickNTP/releases/tag/1.6.0+r5 I don't know if it's compatable with the latest atmosphere but you can use an online patcher to fix the ovl if needed here https://hbpatcher.alula.me/
