Hi I recently was trying to change digitizer in my switch because the old one was slightly cracked. Before removing lcd i connected the new set of digitizer with lcd externaly. It was working all right. After replacing everything like it should be I turned switch on and backlit is there sound and touch works but screen is black. I thought maybe i didn't put ribbon stright so pull it out and put it back but it didn't change anything. Tried to swap back old lcd because it was working but now screen remains black. In docked mode switch works fine. In hanheld mode there is no picture on lcd. Have tried 3 different lcds. What do you think ? Is there any chance that I fried any of the chips ? Or is it ribbon clip. Checked it under magnifying glass but haven't seen any bend pins.

I've swapped it with other working lcd and it gives same result no picture in handheld mode. It's working with dock and digitizer works. Backlight is on. I've checked lcd connector under magnifying glass and all pins seems to be on it's place. I don't want to replace it when it's unnecessary. What else could it be. What can I check or what ic could be faulty to produce such issue ? Is it SOC ?

If everything was working before the only thing I can imaging is bending some pins of the LCD connector. Happened to me 2 after that I started putting the LCD cable into connector before putting the board in the case.

I had bended switches with the APU no making good contact with the board. The switch was working fine but no picture.

I test it by taking the APU cover of and slighty pressing on the APU to make conection with the board and checking for changes.
But since the swtich was working fine I think you either shorted something, nocked a component of or damaged the screen connector on the board.
