Looking to repair a 'dead' switch lite (no hardware mods involved):
- the switch lite appears to be working (i can tell because i can hear the sound effects from pressing buttons)
- i've opened the lite up and the liquid indicator is pink, but i do not see any other signs of actual liquid damage
- i've taken out the game reader/headphone jack to access the lcd ribbon cable; there does appear to be some mineral deposits but not on any part of the pcb, just a corner of the case/gamecard shielding, nothing that would set off any alarms
- the lcd ribbon and connector seems fine, visually. I taken the ribbon out and reseated it and didnt do anything
is there anything else i can try?
