Hacking Switch lite trinket mod

I have a switch.lite and im wondering if it HAS to be unlatched before I can mod it using the trinket?

You can't use a trinket on a Switch Lite, the only modchip for it so far is the SX Lite.

How would you even use a jig to put it into RCM mode, if the joycons don't remove on the lite. Mod-chip only!

You need SX Lite for Switch Lite, Trinket is only for Unpatched V1 units.
