Switch LCD issues

My switch lite was dropped and my LCD stopped working but I could still hear sound coming from it and the digitizer still took input, i replaced the LCD with a brand new one and it still won’t turn on , backlight is working as well. Anyone ever had to deal with this ? Any tips ?

Maybe a bad connector?
Note that the ribbon cable has to be inserted perfectly else it won't work either.
